Football is really the greatest sport there is no other sport in the world can possibly carry so much passion and support. More people watch and play football then any other sport. The climatic, precise, chess-like game is more attention grabbing than any other. Football has a way of capturing the spirit of the world and a way of changing the course of history forever.

The Last King of Scotland
Forest Whitaker got an Oscar the other night at the Academy Awards. He played Idi Amin the dictator that ruled over Uganda in the 70’s. Amin had two very distinctive sides, one a very charismatic leader and the other a very paranoid, revenge driven man that would let nothing come between him and his glory. In the beginning of the movie Forest Whitaker runs into a doctor from Scotland and immediately falls in love with him because he claims to love Scotland and football. The movie goes on to depict the paranoia and psychotic behavior of Amin. The movie ends with Amin trying to kill the doctor because he had and affair with his wife. This was a well deserved Oscar for Forest Whitaker because no actor in the world could bring Idi Amin to like quite like Forest Whitaker did. And Like Grant says, "what a legend this guy is" hahahaha
Liverpool Takeover
In recent news one of the most heritage driven clubs in English Premiere Football was just bought by two Americas, Tom Hicks and George Gillett. "Gillett owns the Montreal Canadiens, while Tom Hicks also has an NHL franchise, the Dallas Stars, as well as the Texas Rangers baseball team." This is a growing tend for foreigners buying big time clubs in Europe. Even though there has been uproar that the foreigners will destroy the heritage, most fans seem to think that this is a good thing because the foreign owners seem to keep a hands off approach to the team. "The deal has drawn comparisons with Malcolm Glazer's acquisition of the most storied club in England, Manchester United. This will eventually turn out to be a good trend for sports not only for the English Premiere League, but for soccer in the U.S., because it is going to mean that more and more teams owned by American investor are going to travel to the U.S. to promote football (soccer).
My Career Path
In the next 1 year I see myself graduating college and going to Fordham Graduate School. There I will spend the rest of my college career before going on to become a professional soccer player. I want to try to go overseas at first because that has always been my goal. In five years I can see myself at a big English football club where I will be making a lot of money. I plan on using that money to form a real estate company with my older and younger brother. In ten years I can see myself moving back to the U.S. and playing in the M.L.S. Where I will settle down and get married and live off my fortune that I have made from playing and the real estate company. After I retire from the game of football I want to become a coach and eventually one day coach in the European Champions League with a powerful European club.
