Even though there has been uproar that the foreigners will destroy the heritage, most fans seem to think that this is a good thing because the foreign owners seem to keep a hands off approach to the team. This will eventually turn out to be a good trend for sports not only for the English Premiere League, but for soccer in the U.S., because it is going to mean that more and more teams owned by American investor are going to travel to the U.S. to promote football (soccer).
